The Skate Ltd turns everyday waste into new beginnings. From our Waste-to-Wealth Facility in Jashore, we transform what the city throws away into compost for fertile soil, biogas for clean energy, and resources ready to live again. Each day, we collect and treat household waste and fecal sludge, quietly strengthening the rhythm of a cleaner, safer Jashore. Rooted in the city’s history and heartbeat, we stand beside its people as Jashore grows into a hygienic, green, and resource-rich city — where waste finds purpose, and tomorrow rises from what yesterday left behind.
This 14-acre municipal solid waste recycling plant, part of the ADB-funded First City Region Development Project (CRDP), was designed by Waste Concern Consultants and Hifab, and implemented by LGED. Located near the Jashore-Narail-Dhaka highway, it was inaugurated by Bangladesh Government on December 31, 2017. Initially managed by the municipality, The Skate Ltd. assumed operations on August 22, 2022, now also handles household waste collection.
